Alfred Carr was sworn in on December 20, 2007 as a Delegate in the Maryland
General Assembly representing the people of the 18th Legislative District. A
Democrat, he serves on the House Environmental Matters Committee and on
the Environment, Transportation and Local Government subcommittees.
Before his appointment to the Legislature, Al served on the Kensington Town
Council from 2002 through 2007 as Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem. Al lives in
old town Kensington with his wife and two sons.
